An introductury explainer about the seven wonders of the world in 60 seconds (ish). The final product is an illustrated motion graphic with quirky and ironic fun facts.
Soft, light and relatable graphics create a fun environment that fits the tone of voice. Consistency in graphics and effects make the 2D graphics come to life in a subtle way. Facial expressions, relatable and humorous elements in the graphics entertain the audience.
The purpose of the explainer is to entertain the audience rather tha deliver useful information. The project demanded a seamless whole with several elements, including graphics, script, voiceover and direction, all fitting the tone of voice.
Characteristic, quirky and descriptive graphics bring each wonder to life seamlessly with the script. The light palette, consistent stroke element and dynamic effects create a lively, but not too busy whole. The bold and large typography adds to visuals in a playful way.
The explainer entertains and serves fun facts with a quirky and light tone of voice. Those already interested in travelling will find it refreshing, and it targets those who enjoy short funny videos online.
